I integrate person-centered talk therapy with evidence based ancient mindfulness techniques and EMDR (Eye-Movement-Desensitization-Reprocessing). With this holistic and science-based neuro-affective approach your emotional pain associated with memories and future worries will be radically reduced. You will feel supported, validated and heard, learn new coping and communication skills and its practical application in your daily life. This treatment style is collaborative and proven to be highly effective treating stress, anxiety, mood- and thought- disorders, trauma and addiction. I see very good results in many of my clients as they grow emotionally and behaviorally, often transforming themselves to lead more present, balanced, authentic, happy and meaningful lives.
My own mindfulness and Zen meditation practice and personal psychotherapy of 18 years are the cornerstones of my non-judgmental and compassionate treatment style as I am greatly inspired by my own journey towards healing, awakening and transformation. By cultivating mindfulness through both informal and formal practices, I naturally bring more mindfulness into the consulting room.
